HOW WE DO IT

In a nutshell, we've been providing online traffic school since 1998. That's when our founders started online traffic school courses in California and throughout the United States. That means we really know our stuff and have created a program that runs so efficiently that we are able to pass those savings onto our students.

WHY WE DO IT

The idea behind $5 DOLLAR ^® Traffic School came together in 2014 when news and media outlets were highlighting the dire situation that California traffic citations had become. People were getting tickets that had a fine of $120 but had to pay $300 or more after all the extra court and administrative fees were tacked on. Those that couldn't pay lost their licenses. Even Governor Jerry Brown realized that something had to be done. He started a traffic citation amnesty program in 2015 that allowed people who could not afford to pay their tickets a chance to pay a reduced fee and get their licenses back.

So we thought, How can we make online traffic school more affordable? The next question was, How low can we go? And $5 DOLLAR ^® Traffic School was born. The Governor's amnesty program ended in 2017, but $5 DOLLAR ^® Traffic School is still here helping drivers complete their traffic school requirement and keep their driving records point-free.
